The Puffin Pad Pro Lens Support is an innovative, lightweight alternative to using a beanbag to support a lens. The Puffin Pad is constructed of closed-cell foam with a 1/2" deep memory foam top that adopts the shape of your lens barrel.
The bottom of the pad has a round groove that gives way to a deeper slot. The first level is for straddling a relatively slim object such as the top of a gate or a car door with the window down. The deeper slot is for mounting your lens and the attached camera body directly onto a half-rolled window. For shooting from flat surfaces, you can flip the Puffin Pad over and nestle the lens into the wide groove.
The Puffin Pad is also appropriate for supporting small camcorders and cameras with shorter telephoto lenses.
The attached break-away tether allows you to loop a lanyard to it and secure it to your belt, backpack, etc. or loop the lanyard to your wrist, boat rail, safari vehicle or gate rail.
