I bought these cables to bi-amp my Klipsch tower speakers to my Denon receiver. Quality locking banana jacks and flexible cable. Only problem is that paired wires are bound too close together. I could not plug into receiver since speaker jacks were too far apart for cables. I fixed by removing heat shrink tubing and splitting cable covering back about 6 more inches. Works but just not as neet an installation. Behind receiver so cannot see.

Is there an easy way to extend one pair of the Canare 4S11 speaker cable an additional 10 feet? My left speaker needs just under 50 feet and my right just under 60 feet.
You can try to use an insulated banana plug coupler but it would be best if you use 14 gauge speaker wire at the length that you require.

Does anyone know what the length of the banana plug is? Clearance is tight between the back of my amplifier and the rear of the av cabinet, and these look like long connectors. I may have to go spade to be safe.
Hi John, that dimension sounds like the dimensions of the pin itself. I was hoping to get an idea of the length from the tip of the pin, to where the wire exits the connector.

From the picture it looks like there are 2 red and 2 black for the flex braid. How is it distinguish which wire is which from one end to the other?
Now I understand your question, no, there are no marking for the pairs, I used a voltmeter to determine the pairs, then labeled it myself.
