Works As Intended. It is plastic so i do worry about having it long term... i didn't want to buy an expensive one.. i can't speak for speed since all i'm using it for mentioned above.. package arrived like fedx kicked in the side but no damage to product... humans can be idiots.

I use it for my Mac. I had to work at it to get FileVault to work with it on El Capitan - you need to reformat (no problem) and then partition, for which you need to go to the command line Disk Utility now. Not hard, just that Apple seems to want to dumb down the graphical Disk Utility. If you don't care about that, it works straight out of the box.
