This crimp tool does not have a back plate. It's great if you already have a crimp tool with a back plate that cannot be removed and you need to install some shielded or other Cat 6A plugs. If you are buying a crimp tool for the first time, just buy one with a removable back plate instead of buying this and another one for regular plugs. If it had a removable plug, I'd give it 5 stars. Quality is excellent. The price is good.

No, the Platinum Tools Tele-TitanXg Cat6A /10Gig Crimp Tool (Clamshell Packaging), BH #PL12515C, is only compatible with the Cat6A, 10G standard (Non Feed-Thru) connectors. The new Platinum Tools PTS Pro Universal Crimp Tool, BH #PL12520C, would be the tool for any of the other connectors. https://bhpho.to/3Tpueki
