Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old Luna Pro now fully functional Bought 2 of these batteries and installed them in an old Luna Pro light meter to replace the PX-13 batteries which are no longer available. Fit was perfect and the battery check function was perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fixed my Minolta SRT-102! I was using a 1.5v battery for the light meter, and it read significantly out of the light meter check zone - consequently I just had to guess on any adjustment I made to the exposure reading. Using this 1.35V battery the battery check function now reads just about right, and I can confidently meter with it. This old Minolta and I have been together since 1974, and despite having owned several other cameras the Minolta is still my all-time favorite; you never forget your first love! It's been several years since I could use my baby, thanks to this new battery I;m looking forward to shooting some sunsets on velvia film once again. I'm a happy camper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Life for Gossen Super Pilot! Though I would have to junk the meter if I could not find batteries. Well this is it and seen to work great. Meter has not been out of the bag in about 8 years and lost other battery after put stuff in storage. Now can use again ... Thanks B&H for being the go-to that would have this item. Locals don't. I to buy the best I can afford when available, treat it right and keep it for a long time. While I know that doesn't do retailers much good, its good to know that investment can be protected by something as simple as a correct battery being available. I am well pleased and the meter appears to work fine with the new battery -- sans mercury, of course!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pull out the old nikkormats What a heaven sent item. This battery made my year. Was asked to give a high school class on nature photograhpy, was given 10 old nikkormat FT's. Cleaned the crud out of the battery holes and cleaned the contacts, replaced with new 1.5v replacements and lost two meter circuits in the process. The two that seemed to work were so far off the meters were useless. Was told of these so orderd two and the two that were off, were tested again and they were right on the money. We repaired the burned out units and installed these and we are back in business. We tried the other six with great success. The class was great. Kids were hooked we gave them the cameras and two extra batteries so they will keep shooting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's easy, it works. Ideal for camera meters that use old 625 mercury batteries. Those old batteries lasted for ever. These don't. But that's life. These work. You could make your own from hearing aid batteries, but at B&Hs very low price (relatively, they're still expensive for a small simple cell), DIY is not worth the effort and reliability risk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Wein MRB625 saves my Gossen Luna Pro As I have renewed my interest in photography again after many years and turning to digital equipment. With a few good components saved like my favorite Gossen Luna Pro I needed the 1.3 v battery to bring it back to life. Iam aware of the 1.5 conversion kit but I was not ready for the cost. With the Wein cell my favorite meter is ready for action again and works perfectly. Iam aware that the newer 1.5 v conversion will last longer but that is not a problem. I need this meter for using gradual ND filters, it also has the spot meter attachment and incident readings my Nikon cannot do. Very happy with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fresh off the shelf - Great Value I purchase my Gossen light meter over 30 years ago. I used it with early SLR Nikon. I forgot I even had it tucked away with all my old gear until I purchase an adaptor ring (From B & H)to use all my old Nikor lenes with Canon Digital SLR. I could not find the batteries the light meter takes locally so went to B&H website! Not only found unique 1.35v batteries but found that the newer version is not activated until the seal is pulled off the back of the battery before installation! I am now up and running with 7 (old) new Nikors and my (old) new light meter! Side note is I was pleased to find out that ASA settings on my light meter are equal to the DIN numbers on my Canon Digital!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Failure I ordered three of these for my Canon Canonel QL17 G-III. Two of the three had a tin foil tab with a nub in the middle, to increase the size of the battery so that it would make contact with the contacts inside the camera. One of the three was actually sized properly. The only one that worked in my camera was the one that was sized properly. Due to the round nipple like contact inside my camera, it would not make contact with the batteries that had the raised foil tab. Adding foil to your batteries to make them larger DOES NOT make them to spec. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I tried adding a small sheed of aluminum foil between the battery and the camera, but nothing I did would make it work. Only the properly sized battery worked. Two out of five because ONE of the batteries was actually made properly.
