Used one of these on my older D4 / Acute head. Somehow the original mount had gotten out of round on the inside. Easy swap, and it’s a better adapter. Keep in mind that in a pinch, or even as a permanent modification, an adapter is not required. Remove it and the head will fit directly on any 5/8” baby pin/ arm/ etc.

will this fit the D1 1000w monolights? i have a threaded screw and need to replace
No, that adapter is for Profoto pro heads and Acute heads not Monolights.You can contact Profoto direct to get that part for the D1 light. It is difficult to attach.I suggest you contact Profoto for a repair and send it in.

What is the correct replacement part for the d1 air? The thread on my screw is also stripped.
