This B&H Kit includes the GoPro HERO3: Black Edition Camera and the Redrock Micro Cobalt Cage with accessories that allow you to use the camera and cage together with or without its underwater housing. The HERO3: Black Edition is a Wi-Fi enabled action camera that supports up to 4K Cinema resolution. It also supports 2.7K, Full HD 1080p recording and more. You can use it to capture up to 12MP still images as well. Plus, the HERO3 includes the Wi-Fi remote and an underwater housing that is submergible to a depth of 197' (60m).
The Cobalt Cage is made of precision-machined aluminum and it's surrounded by 22 different 1/4"-20 threads for more flexible mounting options. You can use it to attach support rails, suction cups, clamps and more. You can also mount the GoPro using a true triangulation method for minimized vibrations. The Cobalt Cage works with all GoPro accessories as well. Plus, since this kit includes accessories that allow you to use the GoPro and Cobalt Cage together without the underwater housing, you'll be able to eliminate the fogging that can plague otherwise clear shots, while still keeping the camera protected.
