The Hitcase Pro for iPhone 5 from Hitcase provides a great way to enhance videos and photos taken with your iPhone 5 while protecting your phone from the elements. The rugged case features a custom-designed 3x wide angle glass lens. By downloading a free Videometer app to your phone, you can achieve up to a 170° field of view for the built-in HD camera on the iPhone 5. This app also overlays your speed, altitude, shock, and G-Force on top of your videos. There are also other iPhone apps available that will increase the potential of your HitCase.
The case is submerible to 33' for rugged protection. It also features the ShockSeal and Poron dual protection system, which covers the frame of the phone with a solid wall of silicone to absorb vibrations and impacts. Outside, the case is made of polycarbonate to guard against scratches and shocks. This dual barrier system also includes a thin, waterproof seal for both the speaker and mic to keep out dust and water.
The Hitcase Pro is finely textured so that you can get a good grip and avoid accidental drops. A clear Lexan cover lets you use the iPhone's touchscreen without problems. Machined stainless steel power and volume buttons offer tactile feedback. The case locks together with three snaps for security, also making it easy insert and remove your phone from the case.
