Steiner 2003 overview

  • 1Description

The 8x24 Tactical Binocular from Steiner combines fully multicoated optics with a rubber armored fogproof housing to produce the image quality and handling characteristics required by tactical professionals. This configuration from the Tactical series optic transmits a 57° apparent viewing angle and can focus down to six feet, making this optic well-suited for birding, hunting, and almost any close to mid-range glassing activity. A nitrogen-filled fogproof housing also provides this set of binoculars with the build quality needed to endure unforgiving weather conditions. Steiner's Two-Way Valve system enables air to be more effectively drawn from the optical housing and replaced with inert, non-condensing nitrogen. Non-slip rubber armoring, angled rubber eyecups, and a lightweight housing equip the 8x24 Tactical binocular with the features needed for reliable and comfortable outdoor viewing.

    Steiner 2003 reviews

8x24 Tactical Binocular is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another winner from Steiner This is my second pair of Steiner binos and not my last (though the next one will be with a reticle lol). Funny thing, before buying them i wasnt sure whether they fold up as i couldnt find a picture online of them in the folded position. I can confirm that they do! I love the super compact size, their look and feel, and most importantly the great glass. The image is clear and bright though my 7x50 porro prism Police model is probably better for low light applications (as expected). I like the fast focus wheel too. It comes with a nice spacious case but i prefer to throw them in my jacket pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good tactical binocular First of all B&H had the best price on these binoculars that I could find on the Internet. The merchandise was properly packaged and arrived in undamaged condition. These binoculars are very well designed for their intended purpose: small, lightweight, good ocular quality, and protected from the elements. I haven't had much of an opportunity to use them in the field but I haven't run into any issues so far. The only negative I see is that the assembly instructions (i.e., attaching the next strap) should have been written clearer and with better illustrations. That aside I would definitely recommend and purchase again.
