question
Hi, I am interested in this bag as a camera/day bag. I have a Nikon D700 with either a 28-105 or 24-70 2.8 lens. I was wondering how much space is left over after the camera is in the bag? It is hard to get an accurate idea of space solely by volume in liters due to the necessity of rolling the top as well as the foam padding. A review video or pictures of this in action would be perfect. If not, if someone would be able to let me know if this bag would hold other items as well as my camera. Thanks!
This camera bag is open inside without any kind of dividers, and the amount of space that remains is dependent on which lens you choose to attach to the camera. Generally speaking, the Nikon 24-70 f/2.8 and D700 body will take up all of the depth of this bag, as this combination is eight inches long, and this bag's depth is about the same measurement.

Specs say the bag is 15" long. Is that after the rolltop is closed, or before the bag is rolled up? My rig is 13.5", so...
This bag holds my Canon 7DMkII with 1.4x, plus 100-400 lens with plenty of room to spare. Room for another smaller lens easily, and I wrapped my camera in a towel for further protection, and put a 1/2" piece of styrofoam at the bottom to cushion the lens. I tried floating it in our pool (with similar size weighted objects, not my camera) and it did float with that weight, though I didn't keep it in for very long. Suggest bringing something to tie the straps in front of your chest or they'll slide down your shoulders.
