The white oak camouflage 2013 edition of the M-990i Mini Cam Game Camera from Moultrie is a trail camera that is designed to capture clear photos and video of wildlife with its 10MP CMOS image sensor. It has an infrared motion sensor that triggers the shutter to take a photo or start recording HD video at 1280x720p resolution with sound. Trigger speed is under 1 sec. The 16:9 aspect ratio provides widescreen images and movies. Illumination is provided by the No Glow LED flash, and nighttime shots are made brighter and clearer by the llumi-Night sensor. Also helping produce better low-light images is the Motion Freeze image stabilization feature. The M-990i possesses a range of up to 70' at night. It's capable of time-lapse photography and 4fps continuous burst shooting. The camera is also equipped with a 2" LCD monitor for playback and menu navigation, and stamps photos with barometric pressure, phase of the moon, temperature, time and date. The M-990i records files to an SD or SDHC memory card with up to 32GB in capacity and runs on 8 AA batteries.

Moultrie M-9901 Overview
10MP Resolution
At the heart of the camera is a CMOS image sensor with a resolution of 10MP
PIR Motion Sensor
Passive infrared sensor detects the changes in temperature that occur when subjects move and captures images in response. Trigger speed is under 1 sec
HD Video Recording
Capture HD 1280x720p movies with sound via the built-in microphone. Video clip length is 5, 15, 30, 60 or 90 sec during the day and 20 sec at night
16:9 Aspect Ratio
For widescreen images and video
Low-Light Shooting
Illuminate subjects with the No Glow LED flash and benefit from brighter, clearer nighttime shots with the llumi-Night sensor. The Motion Freeze feature increases minimum shutter speed from 1/8 sec to 1/20 sec to stabilize low-light images
Time-Lapse Photography
The camera captures images at specified intervals throughout the day and combines them to create a time lapse video (.MLT file), which can be viewed on the included Moultrie Plot Stalker software. This occurs twice per day: once in the morning and once at night. The a.m. time lapse capture will begin 15 min before sunrise, and the evening capture will end 15 min after sunset. You can set time lapse duration using the camera's menu
Time Lapse Duration
Limit the time periods during which camera will be active. Choose from the following options: All day photo capture, capture for 1 hr twice/day, capture for 2 hr twice/day, capture for 3 hr twice/day, or capture for 4 hr twice/day
Hybrid Cam Mode
Will operate in Time Lapse mode during day and Motion Detect mode at night. A half-hour after dusk, it will switch over and capture nighttime photos when the PIR motion sensor is triggered
Continuous Burst Shooting
Capable of capturing up to 3 photos in quick succession in Multi-Shot mode, or shooting at up to 4fps in FastFire mode
LCD
Monitor providing playback and menu navigation options
Date, Time, Temperature and Barometric Pressure Stamp
The camera records the date and time of capture on your images, as well as the temperature at that time
Moon Phase Stamp
The camera stores moon phase data on its internal memory chip. By recording the phase of the moon at the time of capture on your photo, it allows you to see which animals are inactive during a full or nearly-full moon--when the brighter lighting conditions will make them more visible to predators. Moon phase also helps you determine if brighter or darker backgrounds in your images are due to the fullness of the moon
GPS Geotagging
Manually enter longitude and latitude information, which will be imprinted in the EXIF data of photos
Connectivity
Features a USB port (cable sold separately), as well as an external power port for the optional Moultrie PowerPanel or Battery Box
Memory
Accepts SD/SDHC cards up to 32GB in capacity
Security Code
Prevents unauthorized access should camera be lost or stolen, by requiring entry of 5-digit security code
Power
Runs on 8 AA batteries
Mounting
Compatible with optional EZ Tree Mount. Features integrated strap loop compatible with optional Python cable
Included Plotstalker Software
Pixel change sensitivity is adjustable among High, Medium and Low settings. A pixel change occurs when a change in color, intensity, lighting or movement is detected, so
this setting is critical if you want to be able to easily jump to desired photos
