The Yamaha TP70S Three-Zone 7.5 Inch Electronic Drum Pad is an electronic snare or tom drum designed for Yamaha's DTX series of electronic drum kits. The pad features three zones for head, open rim, and closed rim hits. With the DTX500/700/900/M12 electronic drum kit models, you can assign different sounds to each of the three zones for a variety of percussion setups.
It has a soft non-slip rubber surface to provide you with moderate bounce while drumming. The drum pad has a tom mounting hole and comes included with an S wing bolt for attaching to a stand. It uses a single stereo audio cable for connecting into the sound module of your electronic drum kit. The pad comes standard on the DTX450K electronic drum kit and makes a good upgrade for the DTX430K and DTX400K kits.
