The #27 Replacement Battery Cartridge from APC is a maintenance-free sealed lead-acid battery with suspended electrolyte. It offers a capacity of 864 VAh and an expected battery life of 3 to 5 years. The cartridge supports SU2200RMXL3U, SU2200RMXLI3U, SU3000RMXL3U, SU3000RMXLI3U, SU48R3XLBP and SU48RMXLBP3U Smart-UPS.

I've purchased less expensive replacement batteries for our SmartUPS units. At these other retailers, while they were always advertised as APC batteries (or something very similar), what I would receive weren't genuine APC products. They would also typically last only a year or two at most. What I received from B&H was a genuine and new cartridge and batteries from APC. Labels for a free return for your spent cartridge is included (just go to their website). Also, a tip, use a pencil on the cartridge to indicate the date. When you have alot of UPSs to keep track of, it's nice to know how old a battery is at a glance.
