SHAPE Single Handgrip Overview

The Single Handle with ARRI Rosette from SHAPE features SHAPE's quick-lock button technology. The handle can rotate on a 360° axis. The handle and arm can be rotated by pushing the red button. Once the button is released, the handle is secured firmly in place.

The Quick Handle Rosette features a stainless steel locking mechanism for more durability. Providing a solid grip, the handle fits perfectly on the SHAPE baseplate series, including the BP0001 and BP0007 Quick-Release Baseplates, and the Dovetail System thanks to the precision of the ARRI rosette sockets. The handle is removable with one knob screw. It is constructed from CNC machined, high-quality aircraft grade aluminum parts, which are hard anodized for a resistant finish and assembled with stainless steel screws to prevent rusting.

This are priced at the high end of the spectrum but the quality of the product lives up to expectations. There is no wobble or play in the grips, they are rock solid! You may have to rotate the grip after installing so the grips are oriented the same way, as they don't come in left and right from the factory. I love these things, and I hope they never wear out.

It is possible to remove the hand grip on the SHAPE Double-Quick Handle ARRI Rosette Single Shadow by loosening the allen key screw that tightens the clamp for the hand grip on the push-button knob.

is there any difference between the HAND15 and the HAND2S, or is one of the products simply a 2 pack of the other?

The only difference with the two models of the SHAPE Compact Quick Handle ARRI Rosette is that the "S" model is a single handle. BH #SHHAND15 is a pair (2) of handles.
