question
How can customers make informed decisions when buying headphones from B&H ($500 or otherwise) when frequency response plots aren't provided, let alone +/- on the frequency specs?
These are the only hard specs provided by AKG. Frequency Bandwidth: 10 Hz to 39.8 kHzSensitivity: 105 dB/VMaximum Input Power: 200 mWImpedance: 62 ? Truly the best determining factor is an actual audition of the product. B&H offers a 30-day return policy if these headphones are not suitable for any reason at all. AKG does offer a thorough review: http://bit.ly/1yR2NyS
