This works great with my Zoom H4n! When I want to just leave it sitting and start/stop recording from a little ways away, it's very useful.

Ten time better that the original Zoom RC4 Remote Control for H4n! Why! Because it is more easy for yours finger to use it the push botton's finger! Also you paid a better price.

Do the buttons make any clicky noises, or are ...

Do the buttons make any clicky noises, or are they squishy and rubbery? The record button looks rubbery in the picture.

The buttons on the Auray RCH4N Remote Control are made of rubber. They do make a clicking sound when pressed hard. If you press very lightly, the clicking sound is barely audible.

does this item have an extra extension cable that comes with it?

We purchased this unit many months ago. We have other similar devices. They are all housed at a separate location and I don't recall what cables cam with it but I don't think there was an extra extension cable.
