The Link Electronics 8x8 SD/HD/3G-SDI Digital Video Routing Switcher supports data rates from 50 Mb/s to 1.4 Gb/s. The Automatic cable equalizing and clock regeneration allow signals to be transmitted over a long distance with undiminished signal quality.
This switcher incorporates input cable equalization up to 1,000’ (304.8m) for SD and 500’ (152.4m) for HD. Additionally, it is equipped with output lock regenerators for optimum jitter performance for data rate 143 Mb/s, 177 Mb/s, 270 Mb/s, 360 Mb/s, 540 Mb/s, 1.483Gb/s, 1.485Gb/s, and 3Gb/s.
The 8x8 SD/HD/SDI Digital Video Routing Switcher supports multiple control interfaces such as RS-232/422, TCP/IP, CAN, and C-BUS. It also supports 1RU, 2RU, 4RU, and 8RU frames. The redundant control systems and power supply units are available in 2RU, 4RU, and 8RU frames, which enhance system reliability. This switcher is suitable for applications of TV Broadcast, video production, corporate conference rooms, museums, college classrooms, video conferencing, remote learning facilities, and many entertainment facilities.
This routing switcher combines full scales of routing with mixed matrix. The routing frames feature front-loading and rear-loading, and hot-swappable modules for easy serviceability. The 1RU frames use single power supply, while 2RU and 4RU frames support redundant power supplies. The routing scale can be configured on-line by changing the number of removable modules.
The intuitive front LCD display and buttons ease local control. The XE routing switcher is compatible with almost all the control panels and routing control applications produced by Link and supports multiple control protocols.
