This B&H Kit includes the Manfrotto 502HD Flat Base Fluid Head and features a set of tripod legs, a slider and tripod carry bag. This kit is assembled to provide you with maximum shooting flexibility in a compact package for video and DSLR cameras weighing up to 5 pounds. You can arrange the system in a variety of ways, for example, you can mount the head to the slider and use it on the ground or on a tabletop. You can also mount the slider directly to the tripod and attach the head to the slider giving you dolly/tracking movement with pan and tilt capability. If you aren't going to need to pan or tilt you may also choose to attach the Slider on top of the head, for adjustable tilt roll and pan, or spin the camera in a circle for cinematic effect.
The tripod legs range in height from 2.8 to 70 inches, so you can get the system low to the ground, or over 6 feet tall. When used on its own, the slider can support up to 10 pounds of camera and accessories, and about 6.5 pounds of camera with the included fluid head mounted. It features anodized aluminum construction for corrosion resistance, a ball bearing slider platform with wiper seals to protect the bearings from dirt. The included carry bag packs the tripod and legs away and features a shoulder strap, minimizing what you have to hand carry.
