Adobe Flash Builder Overview

Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 Premium for Mac & Windows (Download) is an Eclipse-based full-featured IDE that lets you develop high-performing mobile, web, and desktop applications efficiently using ActionScript, Flash API and the open source Flex framework. You'll have access to professional testing tools to build standout applications.

Flash Builder Premium has all the features of the Standard version and moreover includes memory and performance profiling and automated testing tools. The Network Monitor tool displays the data that flows between a client application and a data service. The FlexUnit test environment allows you to generate and edit repeatable tests, which can be run from scripts or directly within Flash Builder or outside the Flash Builder environment. The Command Line Build feature will let you synchronize a developer's individual build settings with a nightly build.

Flash Builder also includes MXML, CSS editors, debugging tools, and a library of interactive charts and graphs that will enable you to create rich data dashboards, interactive data analysis, and data visualization components.
