The Red Dive Filter for the HERO3/3+/4 Dive Housing from GoPro is a color correction filter that prevents cyan color cast in blue saltwater and clear fresh water, such as in the Bahamas and other tropical locations. These waters naturally produce such color cast in cameras, and the filter instead enables you to capture accurate colors. It can be used in depths between 15 and 70 ft.

The filter snaps into place for tool-free installation, and features scratch-resistant, optical-grade glass designed to ensure optimal image clarity. A tether to secure the filter to the housing and a carrying bag are included.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have for tropical diving!!! I debated about getting this filter because of the cost but I'm glad I did. My friend, who uses a bigger video camera in a housing said it was essential and he was right. I have done a lot so UW photography using the old film cameras (e.g., Nikonos and Nikon F in a UW housing). I always used flash so didn't fool with the color correcting filters. The flash really brings out the true colors. Many of my GoPro shots using the red filter look like I used flash. It is a bit on the pricey side but the filter fits right on the front of the dive housing for my Hero 4 Silver the way it should. After reading the reviews of the less expensive alternatives (not fitting well or very flimsy) I went with the GoPro filter. My friends, who who have been shooting video and stills for about 20+ years were very impressed with the color and the resolution. Get this filter if you are serious about your images!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GoPro red filter for thr dive housing Just got back from a dive vacation in Cozumel and I was so glad to have purchased the red filter. It made a big difference in the color of my filming under the deep blue sea. I strongly suggest this item to any of my fellow dive buddies with the GoPro. When ever I have photo needs I always turn to B&H. I've always gotten great, fast service. Thank you B&H.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only Go Pro red filter I'll use, I've tried several. I've tried several types of red filters for the GoPro and I like this one best. It is easy to attach and remove. I've tried several other brands and they break or are too hard to attach and remove. It's pretty simple to use.
