    Shure A99WS reviews

Foam Mic Windscreen for Gooseneck Mics is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet and Noiseless Even though these are larger than the originals; they perform great. Excellent clarity and very little popping from different speakers with a variety of vocal ranges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy again. We lost our windscreen while moving our mic. This on is perfect for our Shure goose neck mic. Solved our problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great windscreen It performes better than the original windscreen. It is well worth the money

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good filter This is a good filter, but it is big little bit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good pop filter A good replacement/upgrade for the pop filters that come on most mounted podium mics (Shure & otherwise). They give more protection from plosive sounds like B and P, without being too large. On some mic brands you may want to insert a small foam wedge at the base of the filter to keep it snug. They also need to be rinsed in warm water from time to time and air dried before being placed back on the mic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well for untrained people This foam screen really addressed the problem for us, we are actually using it with Audio Technica mic which was really sensitive to plosives but with this screen the issue is solved. You can blow directly in to the mic and no longer get a nasty pop.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reduces mic POPs The main problem this windscreen eliminated was the Mic Eater POP!! The Sure MX418 still pops when you blow on it, but now they can eat the mic and sound good too! I can't stop them: I did try... But now it's MUNCH with out the PUNCH!
