Genaray SP-S-BPS Overview

This Mount Battery Plate from Genaray allows you to power your Spectro LED Studio Series light using a V-mount battery. This means that you can make your shoot much more portable without having to worry about running power cables from an outlet or generator. There is also a quick release for swapping out your batteries during a shoot.

Also, the plate is easily attached by using the four screws included with the Spectro LED light. Included with the plate is an 18" D-Tap to a 90° angled DMX power cable. This attaches the plate to the light without worry.

I had bought 4 Spectro Led Studio Lights several years ago. The units are used very often and have been my go to lights for my traveling studio set up. I like using the V-Mount batteries with the lights but found myself having to clamp the batteries on the light stand and extending the power cable. The Battery Plate is very useful in that I don't have to worry about where to safely mount the battery. The connections are very reliable and secure. The unit is mounted with four screws that extend well into the Spectro Led fixture. The screws are strong and I believe even the larger 200+ watt hour batteries will be held safely. The Plates were on sale at about half price and I bought them for all my units.

Makes setting up and repositioning lights easier. Plus using a battery with the light eliminates the headache of tripping over tangled cables.
