The HiFi-M8 Portable LX DAC packs a powerful Lithium-polymer rechargeable battery for a high amount of power density, offering quick charge cycles and long play time between charges. 4 LED indicators provide a convenient way of vewing battery charge status.
Dual Core
This device uses a dual-core XMOS microprocessor to achieve the dual functionality of a USB DAC and an iPhone dock. It runs custom CEntrance code, supporting 24-bit/192 kHz, asynchronous USB audio.
Driver Support
This HiFi-M8 device supports up to 24-bit/192 kHz resolution with Macs and PCs. With Macs, no drivers are required. For Windows, CEntrance offers a free download of its Unversal Driver.
Tone Shaping
This device supports most headphones and offers high output level. The built-in gain, impedance, and tone-shaping switches allow for dialing the sound just right.
Worldwide Use
The HiFi-M8 Portable LX DAC is designed for real-world use. The included power supply works around the globe and provides rapid charging for the HiFi-M8 device and the attached Apple device. It accepts a wide range of voltages, from 9 to 20 V and can even be charged from a car or a boat.
