    Ruggard PSB-136B reviews

Commando 36 DSLR Shoulder Bag is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 1272.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Commando 36 Bag This bag actually came bundled with a new camera body else I would not have purchased it. I am currently using it to hold some of my overflow gear that I don't normally use. But this is NOT intended to be a negative review- I just have a lot of camera bags! The Commando 36 is a pretty nice basic camera bag: sturdy, a good amount of space in a fairly small bag (1 body and a few medium size lenses or 2 bodies with smallish lenses) with some accessory pockets. It has more room and is better made than my first few bags by far, and yet it is no larger. The only real negative for this bag- it is not really a bag you can work out of, just one for transporting gear somewhere before you take your gear out and put the bag away while taking pictures.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smaller than it looks So this came for free with my new Canon 6D, so I can't really complain. With that said, let me complain. My main problem with this bag is that it seems so much larger in the product photos. In reality, it's pretty small. It cannot hold my 70-200 lens vertically, I would have to lay it down flat in the bottom of the bag, and that would be pretty much all I could put in it. Right now I store a Canon 6D with attached 24-105L and a nifty fifty, and there's honestly not a ton of spare room. I think I could fit a flash unit in there as well if I bought one. If you don't have much gear, maybe it's the bag for you. Just be warned - it's not very big.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag for a casual photographer This bag came with a Canon 70D package I purchased, which was great because I was interested in a good bag to protect my new camera during travels. I am just a casual photographer, so not a lot to pack, but this bag makes me feel my camera is safe and well padded. There are little walls that velcro in place that you can move around to configure in the way you want to store the camera and other items. That was perfect, since I wanted to keep the lens on the camera and store that way, rather than having to remove the lens. Plus front zip and little pockets for other storage. This bag is perfect for a novice with not much equipment to haul.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Gift Firstly, I should say this came bundled with my recent Canon 7DII purchase. It's not really the style of bag I would normally get, as I tend to use backpacks when on the road, or hard hard, foam lined cases when hauling kit to a job. Well, I like it - the design is sensible and intended to keep your camera kit safe. If you are carrying a sensibly small amount of kit there is plenty of room, its well padded and will keep your precious gear dry. Its great for smaller jobs, does not take up much room, and does not scream expensive gear. I usually only use it to protect my camera en-route and leave it in the car once I have arrived.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rugged, sturdy, and durable When I purchased my Nikon D7200, this Ruggard commando shoulder bag came with their promotion. I didn't care much for it at first but when it arrived, I was really surprised by its quality and durability. The inside is very well padded and it's quite spacious for your camera gear. I don't use it as much but it's very ideal when it comes to traveling. It's not too big and it fits all of my accessories. It's good for carry on if you're flying. The only thing I might change is the shoulder strap. I'd prefer something more padded with softer materials because it's a bit rough on your skin during hot outdoor weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value for Sturdy Camera Bag Very roomy interior with adjustable padding. I was able to make a snug little corner area for one of my lenses, and still had room for my camera in a well-padded compartment. Double-zipper closure (meet in the middle or where ever you choose) with clasp makes it secure. Large outer pocket , mesh side pocket, and sturdy strap on the other side make this a versatile bag. The only downside: I would like to have a double sling strap (two thin padded strips) to support the camera, keeping the lens off the bottom of the bag if stored face-down. This would give you even more room in the bag (I keep the camera sideways without the slings).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not A Fan of this Style B&H sent this bag along for free when I purchased my 6D from them. I've never been a fan of messenger style camera bags because I've always carried enough equipment that it's uncomfortable for the weight to not be divided between both of my shoulders. I also hate the way this bag bounces against my hip when I walk. This could potentially be a good fit for someone that doesn't need to carry any equipment other than a small DSLR and maybe a lens, but if you're carrying more than that I wouldn't recommend a single strap bag. This is purely personal preference so others might not be as vehemently opposed to this style/type of camera bag as I am.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits D7100 with 70-300, 35mm, charger, + So I got this with my D7100 as a package deal and I am able to fit my D7100 with either the Nikkor 70-300 lens attached and the 35mm stowed beside it, or the 35mm attached and the 70-300mm stowed beside it in the same compartment, as well as the battery charger and another small compartment for another accessory if needed (remote, extra battery etc). The 70-300 is no small lens and it fits while connected and still has enough room for another full sized lens to be stored unattached and several other small accessories. Quality is great, front zipper has enough room for a few cleaning cloths or filters, an SD card or 2, and a spare battery in the pouches, and in the zipped mesh part, I keep the lens / camera caps and a remote, and it still has room for plenty.Regarding the picture attached, while it seems like what I say above doesn't hold true from the picture, I assure you it does. The Tulip on the 70-300 is on backward for either storage mentioned above and the 35mm hood stays on no matter what. The 70-300 attached fits in at a slight angle upward and diagonally in the bag. You can wedge something under the lens portion for stability.
