Countryman H6 Overview

Countryman's H6 Directional Headset Microphone (Tan) is a low-profile headset microphone. This headset combines a water-resistant capsule with a comfortable, lightweight, and easily adjustable head frame. The H6 features a sealed connector with moisture resistance, a slim, yet durable cable, and three sensitivity options. The cable includes a TA4F connector for use with Electro-Voice 3000 Series, N/DYM NBPU, MSB, BPV, BPU, BPU2, CSB-1000, RE-1 and RE-2 wireless transmitter models.

With a diameter of only 0.1" (2.5 mm) - the size of a No. 2 pencil lead - the mic capsule virtually disappears when worn
Aramid strength members and engineered alloys ensure that the cables provide extreme tensile and flex strength
The colors are precision-matched to theatre makeup shades to blend with a wide range of skin tones and clothing
The mic detaches from the cable using a new connector with a tight seal against moisture

We had to wait for these because they were on back order. Worth it! The dual ear makes the wearer feel very confident. The mic does not move, and the wearer does not need to touch or adjust it. We are very pleased with the result.

Countryman designates the sensitivities of the mics in 2 ways, a letter/number combination, and associated band color. They are as follows, W5 = no colored band is for general speaking. W6 = blue band is for very loud speaking, or vocal performance, and W7 = purple band with headroom for the most powerful vocal performance.

Yes, there are H6 headsets available with a TA4F connector. Please be aware that the connectors are wired for use with specific wireless transmitters, so even if the connector type is the one you need, it may not work with your transmitter. For example, Beyerdynamic, Mipro, Sabine all use TA4F connectors, but the internal wiring of the connectors is different.
