Universal Projector Remote Control for LCD & DLP Projection Systems is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy code changes, <100% universal I planned to use this remote in a auditorium where there were two different projectors hanging from the ceiling. The remote's programmable codes worked perfect for the Sharp but did not work for the BenQ or Boxlight (made by Hitachi) projectors we had. I even tried the code search feature and it found some for the Boxlight but they only controlled the menu and not the on/off functions. It's easy to change the codes back and forth between the respective projectors models if only the codes worked. Nice remote with good IR signal range but not as universal as advertised.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don't expect miracles, but works well and as advertised The programmed codes are challenging to use, but the individual button programmability makes it usable. Solid feel and professional look are good. I had bought this to deal with an Epson projector that had lost its remote. A major shortcoming is that there are just generic codes for Epson projectors and you literally have to just try each one and hope that it has the functionality you need. For the particular Powerlite 5300 I had, none were very good but were functional. It would have been nice to have a real listing -- even if incomplete -- of which projectors models went with each specific code. But ... Win was programmability of the individual buttons. Each can be taught to mirror any code from another remote. Found a collection of Epson remotes, each of which did a few functions, and programmed a reasonable operating unit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Caution Did not work with the Mitsubishi projector we have, which is strange since it's not that old. Had to return it.
