Saves the batteries
Works great. It uses the camera battery to keep Mini TT1 charged.
win win !
I have too many different batteries to manage inventories of, so tired of having to make sure I always have all these different batteries on hand & then trying to responsibly dispose of them For the cost of a few batteries now I run my pocketwizard transmitter off my camera WIN- WIN WINNER !
Very Useful
This is my second cable, which is going on the second camera I will be carrying during a wedding. Great for supplying power to my MiniTT1. My first one lasted an entire year and still going strong.
Its a cord
It works...
A good thing to have
This little cable is great insurance against a failing battery during an important shoot. It's well designed and feels like a quality item. The only issue is that it drains your camera battery and seems to be on all the time. Even if you turn it into the off position it's light flashes. Not a big deal, but you do need to keep an eye on your cameras power supply and have a spare battery charged and ready if you're shooting a long time.
Does the job
So glad to have this - I've been spending so much on coin batteries! The only thing to be wary of is that if the cable is attached, the camera will continue to power the TT1, even if both are turned off. Included in the box are some instructions about all this. :)
Great lens
Just ! what I wanted. It sits on the D500, gathering light at events and weddings. Perfect available light for indoor shoots
Definitely would buy again if needed
This product works just as states and will pay itself off in little time with the money saved from not having to buy batteries. Note though, you've only got 1 connection port on your camera so if you also want to also use say a cable release it's back to using a battery.
