This Anton/Bauer V-Mount to Gold Mount Adapter Plate allows using Anton/Bauer Logic Series batteries to power the Sony F5 and F55 CineAlta cameras. It has four P-Tap outputs for powering accessories. The power plate passes both power and battery information through to your camera. This adapter plate is also compatible with the Sony AXS-R5 recorder.

Will this allow a Sony V-Mount Charger I have to charge generic Gold Mount batteries? I know some chargers have additional contacts for temperature sensors while charging. Does it pass those as well?
We must recommend that you use an appropriate charger. There is a strong risk of damage to your batteries if you do not.

The information we have says that Anton Bauer Gold Mounts (and by extension their P-Taps) will have a maximum current drew of between 7 & 10 amps

Can I use this on my RED EPIC camera that has a V mount plate?
You shouldn't have a problem as long as you have clearance on your camera to slide on the plate. I regularly adapt AB Gold-Mounts on Litepanels Astras as well as on the M?VI Controller.
