The Samsung HDD Extension Unit (2TB) is a 19” (48.26cm) rack-mount type external storage unit using the SATA (Serial ATA) interface, so that it can be easily installed in a cabinet with a DVR (Digital Video Recorder). It offers significant space savings, because a maximum of 4 SATA HDDs can be fitted to a 1U-height chassis.
