The gray MGE Multi Slot Extension Module for Australia (Gray) from APC enables UPS management by connecting it directly to the network. It is an extension module for up to 4 communications cards. This module can be connected to a UPS in 2 connection modes. First by directly connecting it to the UPS bus port and second by connecting it through a U-Talk/Basic acquisition card. By using one of these two connection modes the extension module acquires measurements, status information and alarms from the UPS and transmits the same to the installed communications cards.
