This B&H Kit includes a white Sony EVI-D80 PTZ Camera, one Telemetrics CP-ITV4-S Four Camera Control Panel, and a Sony 9.8' EVI/BRCRS-232 Cable. This kit provides you with a remotely operated motorized pan, tilt, and zoom NTSC camera and a manual control panel. The included cable connects the camera and the control panel, providing you remote control of the camera. The kit can be used for security, teleconferencing, and educational applications. This is a basic setup that provides for expansion as your needs increase.
The included CP-ITV4-S remote unit uses RS-232 protocols to individually control up to four available cameras, either with each camera connected directly to the panel or with the cameras daisy chained together. Daisy chaining the cameras together may allow you to run less cable than if you ran a separate RS-232 cable to each camera, and you can still control each camera individually. The camera features an image flip function so you can mount the camera on a tabletop or the ceiling without worrying if the image will be upside down. The remote panel features joystick control with adjustments for speed of the camera's pan, tilt, and zoom functions. The panel also allows you to manually adjust the camera's iris, to brighten or darken the video as necessary. You can also program and store 6 camera positions in the panel's memory as presets.
