Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job The product I received was slightly different than pictured: black instead of orange. But I think I like it better that way. Besides that, I haven't had any water stains on my negatives so I guess it does the job pretty well. At first it is kind of hard to keep it going straight down the strip - I ended up kind of veering off to the side and having to start over from the top. But after a while you get used to it... You just have to figure out the right grip and amount of pressure to apply.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good quality, but scratches negatives. So, no good. I've been using this squeegee (well the black one I received) for the last 40 combined rolls of 35mm and 120. I also used it on a few 4x5 negatives, which take 2 overlapping strokes to cover. Two problems: 1) I clean it really good but I consistently see scratches in my scans. 2) The squeegee will slide sideways off of the negative while pulling down, especially on 120 film. So this means a trip back up to the top and a retry = which means more scratches (see #1 above). I'm going back to two fingers for 35mm and a foam squeegee for 120 and larger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely need one of these If you are developing film and you don't have one of these, buy it now! Makes drying so much faster. Build quality is excellent for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again. This is a great product. It will be very useful for the Pagosa Springs, Colorado, historical society to clean up, restore, and preserve their historical negatives and get them printed for display in their museum. The only problem is that the second order for cleaning the large quantity of negatives is hung up at B&H waiting to receive the film clips part of the order that are needed to hang the negatives without causing any damage to the negatives. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought it, decided not to use it Good: Dries negatives. Bad: Chance of scratching negatives. Bought it, won't take the chance of using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! I was hesitant to try out the rubber version instead of the sponge version, but it worked great! I've used it on about 10 rolls of 120 now and there are no scratches at all. I did read a recommendation that you should wet it before you use it on your film, so I have been doing it that way. Works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! Sturdy great construction. I know I won't have to buy another one. It'll probably last me a lifetime.
