The native version of the Epure V3 5-Band Parametric EQ from Flux is designed for surgical-style equalization over 5 bands with mid/side encoding and decoding, allowing you to EQ your stereo content independently from your mono sources. Each band can be altered up to +/-24 dB. Epure V3 has 8 channels of audio in and out, allowing it to be used for 7.1 surround mixing purposes. It supports native AAX and VST 2.4 formats on Windows and native AAX, VST 2.4, and AU formats on Mac.
Please note, the AAX native version requires Pro Tools 10 or later, and requires Pro Tools 11 for 64-bit operation.
Each of the five band-sections provides:
Filter type selection:
Frequency range covering the whole bandwidth
Q factor adjustable (from 1.00 to 100.00)
Gain control (ranged -24 dB to 24 dB)
Multiply gain (x2) affecting the gain value of the band-section
Divide gain (/2) affecting the gain value of the band-section
Invert, converting the band-section positive values to negative and vice versa
Up to 8 band group
Master gain control
Full I/O routing matrix
Up to 4 MS encoder / decoder
Bypass routes the incoming signal direct to the output for a true smooth transition between processed and clean signal
Using the internal processing groups and the MS option in a multichannel setup, you could have one set of controls grouped together for the front channels, with a different group controlling the rear channels, configuring an MS EQ on the front channels and simultaneously another MS EQ on the rear channels as well, using one single instance of Epure v3 only
Preset and Parameter Handling
To enhance the workflow the two Preset/Parameter slots, A and B, can be loaded with two full set of parameters at the same time. Apart from saving each preset, a "Global Preset" containing both the A and B settings, and the position of the "Morphing Slider", can be saved
Parameter Morphing Slider with Automation:
The Morphing Slider provides morphing between the parameter settings of slot A/B allowing for really creative and useful real-time tweaking. Enabling the Automation control button exposes the Morphing Slider to the host automation
