The red HP 16GB Slate 7 Tablet features a 7" capacitive multi-touch display with WVA 1024 x 600 resolution and a wide viewing angle. The tablet uses Google's Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It also features a 1.6 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of SDRAM memory and 16GB of eMMC storage capacity that can be expanded by 32GB thanks to the integrated microSD memory card slot. The tablet is equipped with 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR wireless connectivity as well.
The HP Slate 7 features dual cameras. The front-facing VGA video webcam and omni-directional microphone support video chatting on the go, while the rear 3MP camera lets you capture photos and videos while you're out and about. Other multimedia accouterments that enhance the tablet's versatility are integrated stereo speakers and built-in Beats Audio for improved audio quality when listening with headphones. The HP Slate 7 also provides access to Google Play and you can use the HP ePrint feature for fast web-based printing.
