The Sony 2-Year Depot Service For SRW1 Portable DVR is a 24 month service agreement for a single SRW1. The agreement provides depot level support with repair services performed at a Sony authorized service location during regular Sony business hours (Mon-Fri 8:30a - 5:00p). The Sony service center will contact the purchaser via email, or other if email is not available, to set up the account.
Depot service turnaround is typically 3-business days, plus shipping time. It includes remedial maintenance, including all parts, labor and return shipping costs, Sony Core Exchange (formerly FRB), which provides priority module exchange. Support for software and toll-free phone support (except during Sony holidays) round out the features of this agreement.
