Canon 5D Mark III reviews

EOS 5D Mark III DSLR Camera and PIXMA PRO-100 Printer Kit is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 82.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Irresistible deal on Canon 5D Mark III Canon & B&H Photo combined to offer an excellent deal for the Canon 5 D MkIII at the end of 2014. I'd been eyeing a full frame Canon camera for almost a year. Price was a significant consideration for me. With the rebates, this deal brought the price of the camera down to the lowest I'd seen. You get a very good printer in the bargain for nothing. It took about a month for Canon to provide the rebate. The camera, is needless to say, of very high quality and produces excellent pictures. But what makes this a 5 star offering is the bundled pricing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Camera & Printer Package Unbeatable package on a 5D III with a Pixma Pro-100 printer included plus paper, memory card, spare battery and bag. I had been planning on upgrading to the 5D III for awhile due to its low light performance, better autofocus and overall improvements over the 5D II; I am not disappointed. It does not have WIFI or GPS, but those were features I don't need. The manual is not very easy to use and the illustrations leave a great deal to be desired; a third party manual would be an asset. The Pixma printer was an added bonus and even came with 13 x 19 photo paper. Free shipping and no tax sealed the deal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from While the 5D Mark III is good as some reviewers argue, it isn't great. With the appropriate lens, it's good for shooting portraits, weddings, events, and even for travel (if you're willing to carry it around). If you're looking for the extra bells and whistles that are constantly touted, the 5D Mark III is a good choice. The dual card slot, 61-point autofocus system, 3 custom modes, etc. would undoubtedly streamline your workflow. If these features aren't necessary and your budget is limited, perhaps Canon's entry level 6D is a better option for you. Either way, the 5D Mark III is a good all-around camera. But, it's not great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultimate Enjoyment I purchased this camera as an avid amateur photographer. I've been using a Rebel T5i with a few different lenses and decided to take my hobby a bit more seriously and take the plunge into the 5D Markiii. So far I'm only using a nifty 50 with it, but I'll soon be purchasing a 24-70 f2.8. That being said, the photos I'm getting with this 5D are amazing compared to the T5i which I thought was...amazing lol. I can't wait to grab a few lenses and really be able to get more versatile shots with my 5D. Highly Recommended! PS: I got a great deal with instant rebate form B&H/Canon...Came with a Pixma Pro-100 which I didn't need, but with Mail in Rebate, I'll have paid $for my 5D!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Bundle I knew I wanted a Mark III, I just didn't know when I would get one. I'm a fashion photographer who has been using the Mark II since it came out. That was a great camera and I wasn't looking to upgrade yet, but this kit was too good to pass up. The inclusion of the printer and yet dropping the price down so much after rebates is a steal! On the Mark III. The AF alone is worth the upgrade. If you have been seriously thinking about purchasing, now is the time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Camera/Great Deal I upgraded from the Canon 5D to the 5D Mark III, Let me say WHAT a difference. I always wanted to upgrade but just could bring myself to spend over 3k for the camera, until this deal. I used the printer with the sample Luster paper that came in the printer box and the pictures looked great. However the 50pack paper semi-gloss I find to be rather poor in quality (not a con since the paper was basically free), and I now know now not to buy that paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A no-brainer deal How could you not opt for this bundle? Awesome camera, a sweet printer that prints 13x19, with paper and a memory card. Not to meantion a rebate!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing difference I've only had this camera a short time and sadly haven't been able to upgrade my lenses to reflect the quality of this body; however, on its first time out of the box, I took it to the dress rehearsal of a ballet. Low light, fast movement, and my old 70-300 lens (not L series), and I was blown away at how well it captured details and light. This is a proven body in the photography world. I wasn't sure if making the plunge to full-frame would be worth it, but I'm thrilled with the purchase and excited to start learning what this camera can do.
