SB-10 Video Stabilizer is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy, quick fix for shaky hands I bought and used in a couple of short movies where dolly is not available due to space, time, expense. Can easily handle a DSLR Canon 70D with external Rode but not much more as in description of the product. The 'ball' is distanced from the plate with two hand-cut rubber squares which I oiled and in addition added a bit of a space (paper) between the ball holding cup and a mount plate for less pressure. The stabilizer works a touch smoother and reacts more subtle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from U get what u pay for! This stabilizer is cheap and it performs like it. I think the ball joint is the weakness, it just doesn't swivel evenly, even after oiling it. I just used it as a handle without swiveling and it helps. If you want the gimbal action don't get this, it would never work for running shots, but walking slowly it helps stabilize a little.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok for the price but... I am a professional photographer but I am starting to do some videos. I purchased this stabilizer mostly because of it's price but I started to be disappointed after the first use. The thumbscrew comes un-attached, you have to attach it and it does not tighten because the sphere where it attaches rotates before it's tight. On the first use the gymball was not moving at all with the camera's weight so I put a drop of oil and it fixed it. Then on my first trip and after moving the stabilizer around on different flights and security (not fun), the thumbscrew fell somewhere and the stabilizer was useless for the rest of the trip. So I was never able to use it for a real video.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from does the job When properly calibrated this tool is very functional, I recommend lubricating the ball joint for best results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad for the price Very hard to learn how to balance. My camera was right at the 5 lbs limit and would not balance. This is really only good for small cameras.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as expected Improves running shots dramatically but you still have to make sure the camera is pointing where you want it too. I use it with my BMPCC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hard to beat for the price Combines that with warp stabilizer in premiere cs6 and it couldnt get any smoother. Did a test with my Canon 5DII and it works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nice toy..valuable tool on a budget great easy low price way to enhance any low budget camera. Makes a big difference with my Sony handycam and my insignia camera.. also has a wight limit that will support my new Cannon DSLR/Video cam.nothing fancy but nice. WORKS if you learn how to play with it.
