I am debating between buying Matthews Maxi Kit Steel Stand (9 pounds) with Davis & Sanford W3 or W4DX (7-9 pounds) and the standalone Impact Steel Roller with Low Base and Braking Wheels (13 pounds). Are the wheels for the Impact Steel Roller at least comparable to the W3? Thanks for any feedback.
While the wheels are similar between the Impact Steel Roller and the Davis and Sanford W3/W4DX, the latter would only be for use with a video tripod for cameras. If the intention was to use a steel stand like the Matthews Maxi Kit Steel Stand, you may want to consider the Matthews Baby Jr. Steel Wheeled Stand B&H # MALSBJDR, since it would offer a similar height to the Maxi Kit Steel Stand but with a wheeled base. Please see the image below.

Both the Matthews Maxi Kit Steel Stand and the Matthews Hollywood Beefy Baby Triple Riser Stand are both strong steel stands with 5/8" studs. However, the Maxi has a triple riser whereas the Beefy Baby has double riser. Additionally the Beefy Baby stand has a Rocky Mountain Leg.

I'm looking for a stand that'll fit into my lighting case. (maximum 36 in length). Under the specs for this stand I see it says 3.25'' (40 ) for closed length, but under the packaging info it says that this stand is delivered in a 36 box... That doesn't make sense to me. What's the actual closed length of this stand? Will it fit into my lighting case which is 36 long?
The folded length from the manufacturer states it is approximately 36 inches. If your case can only fit a maximum of 36 inches the stand could be too large.
