Best option for a junior column

I bought the MSE runway base and prior to buying this tried the Kupo 120m post. It had play in the runway base mount (ie lateral wiggle) and it was too tall particularly when mounting the Aputure 1200x and lantern 90 on it, some ceilings were too low for this combo. This Matthews one is shorter but extends just as tall as the Kupo one. There aren’t many options for the runway base but this is probably the best. It doesn’t have cushioning like the Kupo one (spring loaded) which will be about the only thing missed. It’s lighter, shorter and installs better. Wish I bought this originally instead of the Kupo to only have to buy again.

Great Equipment!

Great, great, great. Does what it is supposed to. Totally worth it for the quality. I have also dealt with Matthews in the past and their customer support is responsive and top notch.

question

Does this riser have a junior receiver? The name and photo suggest it does, but the specs just say that it has a baby pin.
Asked by: Daniel
The column does have both a baby pin and a junior receiver.
