greatest of the naturallest of lights . classic to have in every kit. skin tones with golden glow when reflected and smoooth when diffused. however the light source needs to be of high output for a great result

Yes, elastics on each corner and grommets in the webbing along all sides. Comes with ties as well.

It will work with this frame but it will have to be tied to the frame using the ties provided with the overhead.

What frames are compatible or ways to practically rig this up?
These work with any 6ft x 6ft frame, with elastic loops at each corner and rope tie downs about every18 inches, you can mount to a frame or just hang with clips off of a crossbar. I have personally even just taped the fabric over a window. They are very versatile to have and are not limited to only being mounted on a frame. I have a few different 6x6 frames and fabrics and I use them in different ways all the time. Lightweight, durable, definitely recommend.

Why is this rag a little smaller than 6'x6'? Is it done on purpose?
The frame it is mounted in is 6'x6', the rag must be smaller than the frame in order to fit properly, allowing room for the ties to pull the rag taut.
