Is there a tutorial on how to properly skin this ...
Is there a tutorial on how to properly skin this tube frame? How much different is it from skinning a flat frame?
The same principles of skinning a Matthews flat frame would apply to this Matthews 48 x 48-3/4 Square Tube Frame.

What's the benefit of using the square tubing ...
What's the benefit of using the square tubing over the much cheaper and thinner Mathews flag frames, which appear to use thin round tubing?
The immediate answer is when they are used for gels or diffusion the grips will adhere the material with a double sided tape. The "flat" frames allow for more surface contact area for the tape. I believe that the flat frames are more rigid so they'll cut down on "gel noise" when shooting exteriors with sound but no system is perfect. Using cheaper tubing frames may not allow enough contact area for the glue tape and would certainly be more flexible. If the grips take twice as long to place gel in a frame and they do it over and over then you're losing time and money. My 2 cents.
