This Manfrotto Pan Bar Handle is compatible with the Manfrotto MVH500A and MVH500AH video heads. It connects and locks into either side of those heads with a clamp and bolt for right- or left-handed use. A rubberized handle provides a comfortable means to move its aluminum-alloy shaft, which measures 12.6".

This angled pan bar handle can rotate within its clamp, allowing a downward-pointing orientation for right- or left-handed use.

500HLV Pan Bar Handle for Select Video Heads is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissapointed This should be a simple piece. A second pan bar for the Manfrotto MVH500AH fluid head to match the one on the head itself. Unfortunately, the teeth on the bracket that holds the bar to the tripod are set such that the two bars can't be set to the same angle. So you have two handles with different positions. Granted, this may be a fault with the teeth on the tripod head itself, but either way it is an engineering error that makes the whole set up very awkward and unprofessional. And it makes me regret buying both pieces. That, and the fact that both handles are very thin, and non-telescoping, makes me question the direction of a brand that I used to value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dear PharmerPhil, What I do to get both of the handles even with each other is I pivot both handles at an outward angle to make them even. One handle will be in a higher tooth place than the other, but with the outward pivoting, you can get them both even. I film high-paced, fast movement seminars, so it important for me to get them both in the same position. This is how I've managed to get both handles uniform. It works this way because you have to flip your left handle on install because I think they are made for right handles. B it doesn't matter because they can be interchangeable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Slim Design I use this product with my tripod and the new look is nice, firm and sturdy. What's good about this product is that it's not to bulky and fits in my tripod bag with out me having to detach it from the head.
