Open End Frames are made of spring steel with a 3/8" pin and support which can be used to hang the Scrim from the C Stand handle when not in use.

The 24 x 36" Black Flag from Matthews has a rectangular frame with a 3/8" top pin for mounting on a grip head. It should be noted that while the fabric covers the frame almost completely, the pin and its brace are of a bare metal, silver color.
