This Pro Lens Adapter from Fotodiox enables the use of your M42 lenses on Pentax K mount SLR and DSLR cameras. It features a durable brass construction with stainless steel finish and ensures a dedicated tool is included with this M42 screw mount adapter to aid in removing and installing the adapter. Due to the focal flange distance of lenses and depth of the adapter, infinity focusing is not possible, making this adapter better suited for close focusing applications.

This manual adapter does not maintain automatic lens control between the camera and lens; aperture priority or manual shooting modes should be used, as well as stop-down metering for exposure control.

B&H are not providing the adapter as illustrated. The correct adaptor, for my usage deserves a 5 star. I use them for mount conversion to use some of my prized Takumars on my K1 and K5 IIs

Won't allow infinity focus

I awaited this product eagerly, only to find when it arrived that my Pentax screw mount lens wouldn't focus at infinity on my Pentax MX camera. Although the outer rim is thin, it's obviously not thin enough and the lens it too far away from the film plane.
