The Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Hasselblad V Lens to Pentax 645 Mount Camera from Fotodiox allows a Hasselblad V mount lens to be used with a Pentax 645 mount camera. It is designed to support focusing to infinity, and is constructed with brass to provide a durable, yet lightweight camera-to-lens connection.

This adapter does not support electronic communication between an attached camera and lens. After being placed on the front of the adapter, focus and aperture controls on a compatible lens would continue to be used.

I am able to mount the lens in the adapter, and the adapter/lens combination in my camera. When I move the focusing ring to the left, everything feels secure, but when I move it to the right the Hasselblad lens comes right out of the adapter. This makes hand-holding under any situation impractical, and significantly increases the likelihood of damage to the lens and the camera body. I thought this would be a neat solution to use my Hasselblad lenses on my 645d, but I should have saved up a few more dollars and gotten a used Pentax lens.

I am trying to wrap my head around the crop factor of this. Will my 80mm normal lens look and function like an 80mm normal lens on the 645z or is there a crop factor involved?

Yes! There is a crop factor - not because of the lens - but because of the 645z sensor. Pentax has a good chart of the lens comparisons to 35mm full frame. it was helpful to me at first - but now am used to the lenses. Remember - you will have a manual focus and manual f/stop down when using the Hassy lenses on this camera.

Same here, first adapter then lens - tripod is a must for focusing in live view.
