The CameraKey Tool from Fotodiox is made for Hasselblad cameras and lenses. A lens can only be taken off or mounted onto a Hasselblad body when both the body and lens are cocked, although sometimes the shutter is released on the body while the lens is still cocked. This tool allows you to cock the lens and the body so that you can mount or un-mount the lens. One side of the tool is for cocking the lens and the other side is for cocking the body. A leather carrying case is included with the tool.

Not rusted

Several reviews indicate this item was rusted. Not this one. Nice tool that you hope you never need for vintage Hasselblad lenses. Does what it’s supposed to. Has some nice heft to it. Beats using a dime or a screwdriver.
Works, comes rusted though

I bought this in advance of my Hassy arriving and it's good that I did. I needed it immediately. It's small and should live in your bag. It does, however, arrive rusted at the ends. Not a deal breaker since it's obviously a necessity for any Hassleblad owner. Just disappointing materials used by the manufacturer. This isn't B&H's fault. Don't let it prevent you from buying a necessary tool, just set your expectations.

Is this tool also for the new Orange Dot Hasselblad lenses of just older lenses?
This tool is specific to older Hasselblad V system lenses which have a leaf shutter in them.
