The Scout D800 Sound Blimp from AquaTech enables you to capture virtually silent shots with your Nikon D800/810 or DF camera in environments where quiet is of the essence. Its sound-damping foam reduces camera shutter noise by over 90%. The blimp's body is constructed from durable polyurethane, and its controls are made of stainless steel, hard-anodized aluminum, and high-strength plastic.
The sound blimp has a dedicated two-button focus/shutter switch, located at its front. It also provides access to the camera's playback and rear main dial controls. The blimp accepts the interchangeable BT-series lens tube system to accommodate your lens of choice and offers full zoom control with no vignetting (tubes required and sold separately). The back plate features a viewing window for live view shooting and image review.
Additionally, the Scout D800 is compatible with PocketWizard remote triggers and is configured with both monopod and tripod mounting points and neck strap loops. An easy-access, single action clip/latch allows you to open the blimp and get to your camera quickly and quietly.
