The Dangerous Music Monitor SR is a 1U rack mountable device designed by mastering engineers to expand the monitoring functionality of the Dangerous Music Monitor ST. The unit enables 5.1 surround sound monitoring. Additional Monitor SR units can be connected and configured for surround sound formats such as 7.1, 10.2, or greater. For I/O, the unit has 25-pin D-Sub connectors for Input 1, Input 2, Input 3, Input4, output Speaker 1, output Speaker 2, output Speaker 3/Sub, and meter feed. The SR unit connects to the Monitor ST via two included ribbon cables. Both devices can be controlled using the Monitor ST remote control over Cat-5 cable. The device is hand built in the USA with mastering grade components to exacting standards.
