The Nissin BM-02 Battery Magazine is a replacement or backup for the standard battery tray included with the Di700 Flash. It will hold 4 AA batteries and has a quick-loading design for easily swapping out batteries during a shoot.
Additionally, the magazine is designed so every battery faces the same direction to avoid improper loading in poor lighting conditions.

Anyone who owns a Nissin Di700 and uses flash much knows there are times when you need to quickly replace the batteries. The BM-02 Battery Magazine will make it a few second effort instead of a few minute effort. This could mean not missing the new bride dancing with her father or the bird finally spreading it's wings after you've sat in a blind for hours. To me, this inexpensive piece of equipment is a no-brainer.
I am a real estate photographer and while on one of my photo shoots, the battery magazine fell out of my flash (I must not have secured it properly). I was able to put it back together to get through that photo shoot, but I ordered three replacement magazines, just to be safe in the event I would have an issue on a future photo shoot.
