The black and grey UltraFit Hand Strap with UltraPlate from Joby allows you to comfortably carry a DSLR or mirrorless camera in your hand or connect it to a tripod via the included Arca-Swiss style quick-release plate. This quick-release plate attaches to the base of your DSLR via its 1/4"-20 threaded hole and clamps directly onto a tripod.

The hand strap has a 0.4" wide nylon attachment belt that secures to the side lugs or eyelets of your camera. The belt has buckles that allow you to tighten or loosen the distance from your hand to the camera's body. There are two 1/4"-20 attachment points included on the UltraPlate that allow you to secure a sling strap or another camera accessory to the hand strap. The UltraFit Hand Strap is compatible with most DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and tripods.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great for me When the guy at the camera store suggested this product I was a little skeptical due its price. I thought it was a little high for "just" a hand grip. When I got home and installed it on my Nikon D750 I loved it from the first time it picked up the camera. I shoot a lot of sports, mostly cycling races and I carry two bodies and this hand strap allows me to have a secure purchase on my primary body and quickly switch to my second body when needed. As already stated, I love this product for the type to photography I do.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Will Not work Before I bought this strap, I called JOBY and asked if it would work with a Really Right Stuff ball head. A rather abrupt answer was "should work alright, it has the same design." When I got it and tried it in the ball head the plate looks the same but is too small to be held by the clamp. Emails to JOBY must have gone to the same person produced NO satisfaction. Other than to say he "misunderstood my question." There was no offer to replace or refund. I was obviously disappointed with the product and more so with the support.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect, but make sure it's tight I bought this recently and have done about 5 sessions of street photography using it. I love how it keeps the camera glued in my hand so that I don't get lazy and miss shots. The downside is that yesterday while walking with a loose grip, the bottom of the strap came loose and sent my 5D MK III + 50mm 1.2L smashing to the ground. The camera was OK, but the lens is going back to Canon to get fixed up. I'm going to continue using this strap because it is, overall, exactly what I want. However, I'm going to make very sure the straps are secure every single time I go out shooting. Compared with a neck strap that I tend never to think about, this hand strap is less reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! This is on my new Nikon D-810. Works with or without the MB-D12 multi-power Battery pack. Makes me feel much more secure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Wrist Strap I got this wrist strap recently and have LOVED it. I tend to do a lot of nature photography; which means hiking, climbing rocks, walking in tidal pools, and all around being not so careful with my DSLR. (Let's just say it's saved my camera more than a few times) Luckily I found this strap which is adjustable enough to fit my small hands comfortably and not impede my ability to control my camera.  It feels secure, and the ultra plate is sweet. I can throw it on my tripod quickly - which is important!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ultrafit hand strap with Ultraplate - just to get the plate Just about every major retailer is out of stock or back ordered (over a month) on Joby's Ultraplate. The Ultraplate is a well -made solution for tripod mounting without removing my Joby sling strap which mounts in the camera's 1/4-20 tripod thread in the bottom of most cameras. I can leave the sling strap on and still slide the Ultraplate Arca Swiss plate into my Vanguard tripod- IF I could get one ! I ordered the UltraFit Hand Strap with UltraPlate (in stock) just to get the plate ! I don't know if this is marketing or if the Ultraplate is going to be retired - but for $3 more I got what I needed. Very well made and machined plate. Strap is average. .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect. I love this. A hand strap is really the only way to go; a neck strap just gets in my way, but I'd like to have a little more security than going strapless. And it's awesome that I can still use my camera on my tripod without removing the strap. But it could be improved. The adjustable straps kept slipping when I threaded the webbing according to the instructions. Twice I noticed that I'd almost lost my camera; the webbing had slipped almost completely out of the buckle. It's great that there are some threaded holes for attaching a different tripod quick-release plate, my tripod uses Manfrotto-style, not Arco-Swiss. In a perfect world, there would be different flavors of the ultra-plate, since stacking two plates created an awkward amount of bulk on my battery grip. Even if that's not going to happen, I wish that there were some holes front and back as well as on the two side ends. Both sides leave my camera very off-centered on my tripod. Still, I would give this 4-1/2 stars out of 5, if that was an option.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One major problem As have some other users reported here, I had the strap come loose from the buckle. Fortunately, when the top connection of the handstrap to the camera eyelet completely unthreated while I was holding it, I had a firm grip on the camera. Otherwise, the camera would have fallen and likely been severely damaged. I contacted Joby, and was sent a picture as to how to backthread the strap to prevent this from happening again. This seems to have worked, because it has not loosened at all since I did this. I still check each time I pick up the camera that the end of the strap has not moved in relation to the buckle. Other than this problem (which seems to have been corrected) the product works great and allows a level of security that one needs with such expensive equipment.
